Kentucky First Lady Launches 2019 Derby Poster Contest

First Lady Glenna Bevin recently launched the 2019 Derby Poster Contest in an effort to encourage high school students across the Commonwealth to submit original works of art for a chance to be chosen as the Governor’s Derby Poster to be displayed at the State Capitol.

“Matt and I are strong advocates of fostering creativity in the minds of our young people,” said First Lady Bevin. “We believe that it is very important to give students the chance to use their artistic skills for a greater cause. It empowers them and gives them confidence to share their own ideas.”

The Derby Poster Contest entry form is presented in a responsive design, allowing contest applicants the ability to access the entry form across multiple devices.

The contest form was provided by Frankfort-based Kentucky Interactive, LLC, aka Kentucky.gov, via a public-private partnership at no cost to the Office of the First Lady.

The submission form can be accessed via the First Lady’s website (firstlady.ky.gov) until the contest concludes on Feb. 28, 2019.
