Top U.S. banks rise ahead of Bernanke testimony

U.S. financial stocks opened with strong gains on Thursday morning with the nation’s largest banks like Bank of America Corp, Citigroup Inc. and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. all rising more than 1%.
