Stocks Rise as Fundamentals Trump Fear

Fundamentals trumped geopolitical concerns today–and the stock market was better for it. REUTERS The S&P 500 rose 0.5% to 1,983.53, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.4% to 17.113.54.
