SciQuest Supports Veterans Organizations through Recent Donations

SciQuest, Inc. (Nasdaq: SQI), a leading provider of cloud-based business automation solutions for spend management, today announced the most recent charitable contributions from its SciQuest Charitable Fund. In partnership with the Triangle Community Foundation, this year’s grants support organizations that work closely with regional and national veterans to provide emotional, professional and financial stability.

The SciQuest Charitable Fund, which was created in 2001, provides support to 501c3 organizations on a bi-annual basis, and has donated funds to more than 30 different organizations since inception. This year’s fall donation recipients include:

  • Family Services of Western Pennsylvania, an organization that focuses on providing the regions’ veterans with employment support and guidance during the transition to civilian life, while also supporting the needs of the veterans through assistance with housing, employment, and other basic needs.
  • Fisher House Foundation, a network of comfort homes where military and veterans’ families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment.
  • TROSA’s Program for Veterans, an innovative, multi-year residential program for veterans that allows them to establish their recovery, form healthy relationships with local educational institutions and ensures every veteran graduates TROSA’s program with a job in the community.
  • USO, an organization dedicated to lifting the spirits of America’s troops and their families through programs at home and aboard, including ones that aid in the rehabilitation and reintegration of troops as they and their families navigate the road to recovery or transition into civilian life.

“These are just a handful of organizations that provide necessary support to our nation’s veterans and we know our contribution will enable these veterans and their families to lead productive lives,” said Stephen Wiehe, president and CEO of SciQuest. “By working closely with the Triangle Community Foundation, we are able to select deserving groups that will impact many lives and we look forward to continuing to offer SciQuest’s support to groups such as these.”
