Serve Kentucky Launches Website Redesign

Serve Kentucky, the State Service Commission, recently launched its redesigned website featuring a modern look and feel as well as an enhanced user experience. The website was redesigned to reflect and expand Serve Kentucky’s mission of engaging Kentuckians in volunteerism and service to positively impact our communities.

The website, serve.ky.gov, is presented in a responsive design, allowing citizens of the Commonwealth the ability to access information and resources across multiple devices. Serve Kentucky Executive Director Joe Bringardner said the updated website gives a better experience to those interested in service and volunteerism.

"We are proud of our agency's new site and the convenience it offers from any device to visitors who want to learn more about service and Serve Kentucky's programs such as AmeriCorps," Bringardner said. "This site can help connect anyone who wants to make a difference in the Commonwealth with the right opportunities to serve."

Serve Kentucky was created to serve as a conduit for federal funds that support AmeriCorps programs in the Commonwealth, encourage and recognize volunteerism, and assist in service program development. Serve Kentucky funding is provided by the Corporation for National and Community Service and the Kentucky General Assembly. The Cabinet for Health and Family Services is the parent agency for the commission, providing administrative support and oversight.

Serve Kentucky’s website was redesigned by Frankfort-based Kentucky Interactive, LLC, aka Kentucky.gov, via a public-private partnership.
