Kami Shade' established herself as a fashion designer in 2004. Born in the diverse and eclectic town of Berkeley, California in 1979 to a Nigerian father and American mother. In 2000, Kami Shade' decided to expand her passion of designing and making clothes by designing couture garments for clients and showcasing her line in various runway exhibitions. When the notoriety and popularity of the collection reached it's highest heights of San Francisco, she still was not satisfied being a "local celebrity".
