Documentary film Top Priority: The Terror Within Shatters Homeland Security's Code of Silence
June 29, 2012 (MMD Newswire) -- This 4th of July marks an 8-year anniversary of an important whistleblowing disclosure that remained virtually unknown to the general public - until now. The Documentary feature film "Top Priority: The Terror Within" breaks through the barriers of government cover-up with a theatrical release at the IFC Film Center in New York City/ Manhattan from June 29 through July 5, 2012, followed by the West Coast shows at the Laemmle NoHo Theatre in North Hollywood, CA from July 13 until July 19, 2012.
"New Yorkers have a unique perspective on our nation's war on terror," said Director Asif Akbar "and we wanted to share this important milestone with them by starting the theatrical release of "Top Priority: The Terror Within" in the Big Apple. Every patriotic American should be concerned with the government wasting millions of taxpayers' dollars on retaliation against patriotic truth-tellers. Julia Davis dared to challenge powers-that-be by exposing glaring flaws in the processing of aliens from terrorist countries into the U.S. Instead of praising this upstanding law enforcement officer for her vigilance, the Department of Homeland Security falsely branded her a "Domestic Terrorist", raided her home with a Blackhawk helicopter and subjected Julia, her family members and witnesses to the kind of retribution that you have to see to believe. That's what we encourage everyone to do - come see what the government is really doing with the funds, manpower and resources allocated to the war on terror."
Julia Davis added, "Terrorists see our porous land borders with Mexico as an easy way to enter the U.S., openly plotting to bring weapons of mass destruction into the U.S. While our busy ports of entry remain grossly understaffed, the Department of Homeland Security devotes its manpower and resources to silencing the truth about our national security. None of the 9/11 hijackers were deported for overstaying their visas, but the DHS attempted to deport Simon Monjack - as a punishment to his then-fiancee Brittany Murphy. Her only fault was to deny false allegations made against me by the agency. For doing the right thing as a witness in my case, Brittany was exposed to retaliatory terror tactics of unprecedented magnitude. Four witness deaths surrounding this case cry out for justice in a court of public opinion."
Fleur De Lis Film Studios President BJ Davis concluded, "We made this film to expose government corruption, fraud, waste and abuse. Most importantly, we want to make sure that nothing like this ever happens to you."
"Top Priority: The Terror Within" was described by critics as an "outstanding movie - one that exceeds every other modern documentary", "astonishing", "a jaw-dropping campaign of government harassment and intimidation", "an impressive hoard of corroborating visual and audio evidence -- anchored by taped legal depositions from two creepy government suits" and "a remarkable film that'll make you question your leaders" with "more twists and turns... then all of the rides at Disneyland".
