Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers
On December 14, 2017, Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the retirement of Robert J. Rapport, our Senior Vice President & Controller and Chief Accounting Officer. Mr. Rapport will remain our Senior Vice President & Controller and Chief Accounting Officer through December 31, 2017, and Stacy Mills, age 53, currently Vice President & Deputy Controller, will assume the role of Vice President & Controller and Chief Accounting Officer effective January 1, 2018. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.
Ms. Mills will receive salary, bonus and equity awards, and will participate in other benefit and compensation plans, at levels consistent with her seniority and scope of responsibility.
