When Dr. Wolsky herself went through orthodontic treatment during high school, she became interested in orthodontics. Her treatment involved a full mouth of braces and oral surgery. After her experience, she realized that she would really like to help other people create their own personal and beautiful smiles.
A Preferred Invisalign Specialist, she is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Colorado Orthodontic Foundation, the Colorado Association of Orthodontists, the Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Colorado Dental Association.
Born and raised in Shaker Heights, Ohio, Dr. Wolsky graduated from Shaker Heights High School, and then attended the University of Michigan where she majored in Economics. She returned to Cleveland for dental school at Case School of Dental Medicine and obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Thereafter, she returned to the University of Michigan and received her Master's degree in Orthodontics in 1992. She opened her own private orthodontic practice in Aurora, Ohio and fifteen years later, she and her family chose to make a dream come true by moving to Colorado. She decided to sell her practice in Ohio and make the move to Denver. Luckily, she found a great practice to make her own in Littleton and is happily enjoying all that Colorado has to offer.
Orthodontics is a specialty of dentistry that deals with the diagnosis, prevention, and correction of malpositioned teeth and jaws, and misaligned bite patterns. It can also focus on modifying facial growth, known as dentofacial orthopedics. Orthodontists are specialized dentists who correct teeth misalignment in patients.
On a more personal note, Dr. Wolsky loves skiing, traveling to the mountains, as well as playing tennis and golf. Happily married, she and her husband, Howard, have three wonderful children - Rachel, Alissa, and Ryan - and two dogs, Rocky (a chocolate lab) and Cosmo (a golden retriever). The entire family is avid skiers, and they also enjoy hiking, biking, sightseeing, and traveling.
