In 1989, he came back to New York to attend the NYU College of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Upon graduation, he completed his residency at Nobel Biocare in 1996.
He worked in New York City and shortly moved to Connecticut looking for a better quality of life for his family. In 1994, he opened his own business in Bridgeport where he became the first Latino dentist in the area. In 1998, he expanded to a second office in Norwalk, having been dedicated to helping the Hispanic and Brazilian community for the past two decades.
Having completed training to become certified in Invisalign, Clear Correct, Lumineers, 3i Implant, and HIOSSEN Implant, Dr. Madera is a member of numerous organizations, including the American Dental Association, the Connecticut Dental Association, the Hispanic Dental Association, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and The Holy Dental Relief. He is also the Vice President of an NGO organization.
