Sedalia, CO, January 20, 2022— Earlier in 2021, Holly Kluth announced her candidacy for Douglas County Sheriff, after serving as a law enforcement officer for more than 32 years in the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO). Kluth has worked for four previous Douglas County Sheriffs in an administrative and/or supervisory capacity in nearly all departments. She was also the Douglas County Undersheriff for over six years, managing approximately 600 employees and 300 volunteers.
Kluth’s education and extensive experience in law enforcement has resulted in her making significant contributions to the excellent public safety services delivered by DCSO. In addition, she has forged strong, ongoing key partnerships with other law enforcement and judicial agencies, school administration officials, and many other community leaders.
At a time when crime rates are rising at alarming rates in Colorado and across the country, Kluth stands ready to use her outstanding leadership skills to work with DCSO officers and staff to serve and protect Douglas County citizens and to make DCSO one of the best public safety forces in Colorado.
