ITEM 8.01 OTHER EVENTS.
On April 27, 2007, Affordable Residential Communities Inc. issued a press release announcing that its Board of Directors declared a cash dividend of $0.515625 on each share of its Series A Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock. The dividend is payable on July 30, 2007 to shareholders of record on July 13, 2007.
The press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by this reference and all references and descriptions to the press release are qualified in their entirety by the terms of that release.
