On June 23, 2010, Chimera Investment Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 100 million shares of its common stock for expected gross proceeds of approximately $365 million before expenses.  The Company’s press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
