MERRILLVILLE, IN, May 14, 2024 — Michael E. Schrage, President and CEO of Centier Bank, is pleased to announce the promotion of Jason L. Harris to the role of Mortgage Market Manager and Bank Officer.

Harris joined Centier Bank in 2007 and began working in the bank’s Merrillville-based Client Service Center, where his passion for customer service led him to new opportunities within the organization. Upon graduating from Indiana University Northwest, he was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager of Centier’s Gary Glen Park location, later becoming a Community Lender serving the Gary community, and was promoted to Community Lender Manager in 2023.

In his role as Mortgage Market Manager, Harris oversees the origination staff and community mortgage lenders to ensure client’s reach their goal of homeownership.

“I’m honored to step into my new role at Centier Bank, and I’m excited to continue serving our clients with dedication and integrity,” Harris shared. “I look forward to leveraging my nearly two decades of experience to benefit clients across our Indiana communities.”

Singh, Vice President and Mortgage Production Manager, looks forward to seeing how Harris will thrive in his role and inspire his team to make a difference in the lives of others.

Harris is active in his community as a member of the Gary Rotary Club and Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc.  In addition, he is a Board Member of the Mortgage Bankers Association.
