Item 8.01 Other Events.
Nokia Litigation Update.
On September 15, 2008, the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit denied Nokia Corporation’s petition for rehearing and petition for rehearing en banc with respect to the court’s summary order issued on July 31, 2008 in favor of InterDigital, Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiaries InterDigital Technology Corporation and InterDigital Communications, LLC, which found that Nokia waived any right to arbitrate whether it has a license under InterDigital’s 3G patents involved in the U.S. International Trade Commission proceeding between the parties.
