Explanatory Note
This Form 8-K/A amends the Form 8-K filed by Frontier at 4:08 pm on November 1, 2016, which attached Frontier’s earnings press release for the Third Quarter of 2016 as Exhibit 99.1 and slides to be used during Frontier’s November 1, 2016 earnings conference call as Exhibit 99.2.
The four footnotes contained in Exhibit 99.1 of the Form 8-K were included at the end of the narrative section and before the financial tables section.
This Form 8-K/A includes both Exhibits 99.1 and 99.2 contained in the Form 8-K, with Exhibit 99.1 now including the footnotes in the narrative section on the same page as the footnote reference.

On November 1, 2016, Frontier Communications Corporation (“Frontier”) issued a press release announcing third quarter 2016 financial results. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
