nCino (NCNO) Reports Earnings Tomorrow: What To Expect

Banking software provider nCino (NASDAQ: NCNO) will be announcing earnings results this Wednesday afternoon. Here’s what you need to know.

nCino beat analysts’ revenue expectations by 3.9% last quarter, reporting revenues of $148.8 million, up 12.4% year on year. It was an exceptional quarter for the company, with an impressive beat of analysts’ billings estimates and EPS guidance for next quarter exceeding analysts’ expectations.

This quarter, analysts are expecting nCino’s revenue to grow 6.1% year on year to $147.3 million, slowing from the 13.8% increase it recorded in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings are expected to come in at $0.21 per share.

Analysts covering the company have generally reconfirmed their estimates over the last 30 days, suggesting they anticipate the business to stay the course heading into earnings. nCino has only missed Wall Street’s revenue estimates once over the last two years, exceeding top-line expectations by 1.3% on average.

Looking at nCino’s peers in the vertical software segment, some have already reported their Q3 results, giving us a hint as to what we can expect.
