Item 8.01. Other Events.

On April 29, 2005, Skechers U.S.A., Inc. (the "Company") issued a press release announcing that the United States District Court for the Central District of California had dismissed the first amended consolidated complaint in a shareholders securities class action previously filed against the Company and certain of its officers and directors, and entered final judgment in their favor on April 26, 2005. The plaintiffs have thirty days from April 26, 2005 to appeal the judgment. A copy of the press release is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this current report on Form 8-K.
