USMC Veteran Founded Scooter's Garage to Repair and Restore Classic Automobiles

LANCASTER, Texas - Dec. 29, 2022 - PRLog -- For Ted Fox, automotive repair is in his blood. This Marine Corps veteran of 17 years, started off being taught auto repair by family members and the interest never went away. After his service ended in the military, he founded Scooter's Garage in Lancaster, Texas and started building his business.

Ted added specialized equipment and diagnostic tools allowing him to plug into a car directly and "read" the vital signs of the internal systems. Ted always enjoyed classic cars and specialized in Pontiacs, Chevys, and custom restorations from the 60s to present day. His services include body work, engine refurbishment, and custom fabrication of hard to find parts. Scooter's garage has now been featured in SHIFT Advanced Life Design Magazine and Newsbreak.

Ted's favorite part of owning his own classic garage is the interactions with customers. He has done an emergency stereo installation on Christmas Eve to help a mother surprise her daughter, dewired a Chevelle loaded with live pyrotechnics, and helped a Vietnam veteran restore his beloved 1960 Impala.

"For many people, their "unfixable" classic car just needs some extra attention and project planning. Scooter's Garage is happy to get the opportunity to get these amazing vehicles back on the road." - Ted Fox, owner
