FPSO Marlim Sul starts operation
This event represents the beginning of production by the Complementary System of Module 1 of the Marlim Sul Field, comprising 5 oil producer wells, 4 water injection wells and underwater pipelines that collect production and transport gas, besides the platform itself. The system should reach peak production before the end of the second half of this year.
This project is beginning operation with all the safety and environmental systems fully operational. The purpose of these systems is to ensure adequate safety standards for people and installations and to protect the environment, according to the requirements of the environmental agencies and the Safety, Environmental and Occupational Health Policy adopted by Petrobras.
