On November 16, 2012, Mr. Kim, Joong-Kyum, President, Chief Executive Officer and Standing Director of Korea Electric Power Corporation (“KEPCO”), resigned from his position. Pursuant to KEPCO’s articles of incorporation, Mr. Cho, In-Kook, current Executive Vice President of Domestic Operations and Standing Director of KEPCO, will serve as the interim President and Chief Executive Officer. As previously noted in Form 6-K furnished on November 9, 2012, the new President, Chief Executive Officer and Standing Director will be appointed at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders to be held on December 17, 2012. Details regarding the candidates for this position will be provided in Form 6-K to be filed in the near future.
