Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
Effective as of February 19, 2016, the Board of Directors of Douglas Emmett, Inc. increased the number of its members from eight to nine, and elected David T. Feinberg as a director. Since 2015, Dr. Feinberg has been the president and chief executive officer of Geisinger Health System. From 2007 until 2015, Dr. Feinberg served as the Chief Executive Officer of the UCLA Hospital System and Associate Vice Chancellor of UCLA Health Sciences. He was also a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at UCLA's David Geffen School of Medicine, and held other positions at UCLA and its Hospital System. Dr. Feinberg holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California at Berkeley, an M.D. from the University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School and a Masters of Business Administration from Pepperdine University. Dr. Feinberg was previously a director of Douglas Emmett from 2011 to 2015.
