A company representative explains that the introduction of nationwide delivery on residential and commercial orders is in response to the demand for high-quality feeder animals, consequent to rising reptile ownership and the humanization of exotic pet care among hobbyists and zoos.
All frozen rodents supplied by MiceDirect are bred and raised on safe, hygienic farms in Cleveland, Georgia, and humanely euthanized using carbon dioxide to prevent distress, pain, or any form of suffering.
During order fulfillment, rodents are packaged in dry ice and shipped nationwide with same-day processing on orders received before 1 PM EST. Commercial orders and West Coast shipments are scheduled for Monday through Wednesday.
