On February 28, 2008, Transgenomic, Inc. issued a press release announcing
its financial results for the fourth quarter 2007. A copy of the press release
is being furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.

Exhibit 99 referenced in Item 9.01 below) is being `furnished" under "Item 2.02.
