The ABCs of Paradise Found Published by Wordeee
Author Karen Amanda Toulon and Artist Eric Rhinehart's Groundbreaking Collaboration
NEW YORK - Dec. 1, 2021 - PRLog -- Wordeee (https://www.wordeee.com) announces the publication of a keepsake coffee table book, The ABCs of Paradise Found. With captivating prose by author, Karen Amanda Toulon, beautifully rendered original watercolor paintings by artist Eric Rhinehart, and a Foreword by Andrew Young, former UN Ambassador, this stunning work is uplifting and mysterious. Taking readers on a tropical excursion of two hearts entwined, Toulon has envisioned the pulsing heartbeat of a world both real and imagined. The story is enticing...A woman and a man meet on the beach in the Caribbean. That chance encounter turns into a journey of discovery of themselves, each other, and the island which has a personality all its own: Deep-sea dives. Primordial rain forests. Night witches and dawn carnivals.
As they journey together, he learns about the ingredients of a national dish and where runaway slaves hid. She learns he has a scar and a wicked smile. But what you won't learn are their names. Ages. Countries of origin. Professions. Political leanings. There will be no interruptions by work deadlines, smartphones, insistent technologies, and other inconsolable distractions. At one point, the woman wonders, "Where is this going?" And we are grateful that we are along for the ride.
"Readers will find themselves immersed in the technicolor world of the Caribbean expertly rendered in watercolors with lyrical prose in The ABCs of Paradise Found. It is an endless journey with no passports needed," stated publisher Marva Allen, CEO of Wordeee. Book signing will be held on December 2 at Hueman Books at Ground Central, NYC.
Phillip Youmans, Filmmaker/Director, Burning Cane, commented, "Reading The ABCs of Paradise Found feels like a nostalgic afternoon going through childhood photo albums; this story allows you the space and time to reflect on the specific moments in life that become memories. Fueled with the spirit of the Caribbean, Toulon's prose and Rhinehart's illustrations harmonize in a beautiful, soothing symphony."
"Karen Amanda Toulon has written a poetic tribute to French Caribbean culture and the vagaries of new relationships. Eric Rhinehart's paintings invoke the color palette and culture of the islands so well you can swim in them. The ABCs of Paradise Found is a lyrical & romantic tribute." stated June Cross, Fred W. Friendly Professor, Media & Society, Columbia University
