Item 8.01     Other Events

On September 17, 2008, LHC Group, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it has entered into a joint venture with West Tennessee Healthcare to provide home nursing services, effective October 1, 2008. This joint venture includes three agency locations in the certificate of need (CON) state of Tennessee. These locations are located in Jackson, Bolivar and Trenton.
