Item 8.01. Other Events.

On April 17, 2012, Whirlpool Corporation issued a press release announcing that the U.S. International Trade Commission found that bottom-mount refrigerators imported from South Korea and Mexico did not cause material injury to the U.S. industry. Whirlpool plans to review the ITC’s final decision and will determine whether or not to appeal. A copy of the press release is attached and incorporated herein by reference.
