Item 8.01

Other Events.

On June 28, 2016, notices were sent to the holders of all $100,000,000 of the 4.85% Series 2005A Clark County, Nevada Industrial Development Revenue Bonds (Southwest Gas Corporation Project) (the "Bonds"), that the Bonds will be redeemed on July 28, 2016 (the "Redemption Date") at a redemption price equal to 100% of the principal amount, plus accrued but unpaid interest to the Redemption Date.  The Bonds are obligations of Southwest Gas Corporation (the "Company"), and the Company plans to use cash and funds from its credit facility to fund the redemption.
