RTLS Studio 2.4

HOUSTON - April 26, 2021 - (Newswire.com)

Sewio Networks, a UWB-based real-time location system (RTLS) vendor, released the latest version of their flagship software, RTLS Studio 2.4, enabling a whole new set of workplace safety use cases thanks to using the precise and scalable Tag Zones. On top of that, this version offers better support of enterprise-level and large-scale installations, plus an easier integration with third-party systems.

With industrial safety becoming increasingly important and companies seeking new ways to protect their personnel, Sewio is pawing the way and introducing innovative solutions with crucial safety use cases. RTLS Studio 2.4 pushes geofencing to a whole new level by allowing the creation of dynamic Tag Zones, which move together with their assigned entity. This enables alerting based on the proximity of two moving entities, helping to prevent incidents and fatal injuries. Contact tracing is now also possible thanks to tracking people's movement and encounters. This function aims to minimize the spread of respiratory diseases by leveraging both real-time and historical data of any and all contacts between employees.

In addition to these crucial safety use cases, the RTLS Studio docker is now generally available, making the RTLS Studio platform-agnostic and thus simplifying the deployment of Sewio RTLS. Last but not least, the integration of Sewio RTLS with multiple complex systems is now easier thanks to Universal Unique ID (UUID), which streamlines the pairing between RTLS tags and the tracked entity.

"We are constantly working towards improving our software and bringing our customers easy-to-use, reliable and accessible tools to help them launch and manage their RTLS to create a safer working environment," said Lubomir Mraz, CTO at Sewio Networks. "We are excited to introduce the new 2.4 version of RTLS Studio adding multiple new use cases to an already wide portfolio of safety applications."
