Eco-friendly & sustainable swimwear line makes a splash at New York Fashion Week
NEW YORK - Sept. 13, 2021 - PRLog -- This past Saturday at New York Fashion Week showcasing with The Society Fashion Week, Voglia Swimwear closes their year/season by showcasing their capsule collection, Spaced Out.
The eco-friendly, sustainable luxury swimwear line, which was launched on July 1, 2020 by Ashley-Victoria Smith, wraps up their official year with a diverse line up of models; shortest being 5'5, youngest 20, oldest 46, and sizes 2 to 16 all proved that everyone can look good in a bikini.
The brand was inspired by a dream Smith had back in 2017. Smith says, "You can either stay asleep and dream or wake up and bring your dreams to life."
Smith's philosophy is to "educate consumers on our fashion waste, by helping make better sustainable choices within our wardrobe." Meaning "wish" in Italian, Voglia Swim's wish is for a cleaner, healthier, better world which starts by cleaning up our oceans, waterways, beaches and saving marine life. Swimsuits are made from Econyl(R), a regenerated nylon made from ghost fishing nets.
