Ryan Lawn &Tree Donates Over $68,000 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

MERRIAM, Kan. - Nov. 10, 2022 - PRLog -- Ryan Lawn & Tree partnered with its customers to raise more than $68,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in their fight to end childhood cancer.

RYAN has supported St. Jude since 2010 when one of RYAN's associates' children was diagnosed with a brain tumor at only 11 months old, and the family found themselves at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

This year, RYAN increased its support in August by inviting its customers to join in the fight against childhood cancer with a donation-matching campaign. Over the course of this fundraiser, RYAN and its customers raised over $68,000 for St. Jude!

Mackenzie Booth, Development Specialist at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, thanked RYAN and its supporters.  "At St. Jude our mission is simple - Finding Cures and Saving Children. On behalf of all the patients and families of St. Jude, especially those locally, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to Ryan Lawn and Tree and their customers for their incredible support of the St. Jude Walk/Run. Your gifts mean more than just philanthropic support - it also represents the hope that these families are not alone during the most difficult days of their lives."

More than 100 members of Team-Avery / Ryan Lawn & Tree participated in the annual St. Jude Walk/Run to raise money for cancer research in towns across Kansas, Oklahoma and Missouri. The name of the team, Avery, originates from the daughter of a Ryan Lawn & Tree employee's daughter, Avery Christiansen, who continues to thrive, thanks to the amazing work of St. Jude's specialists.

Since its founding in 1962, St. Jude has been committed to providing free care to juvenile cancer patients as they continue their quest to eliminate childhood cancer. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is working towards a cure to childhood cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. They strive to provide treatment to all children, regardless of their families finances. Families of those children receiving treatment will never receive bills for travel, food, housing, or treatment. The support of partners such as Ryan Lawn & Tree allows St. Jude Children's Research Hospital to provide children and their families with aid and enables them to continue their research of cancer cures.
