Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
On October 29, 2018, EVERTEC, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing the appointment of Joaquin Castrillo as the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Castrillo, age 36, has worked at the Company since 2012 serving in roles of increasing responsibility, most recently as interim Chief Financial Officer and previously as Vice President of Finance. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Castrillo was an Audit Manager in the Banking and Capital Markets group of PwC. Mr. Castrillo holds a B.B.A. with a double concentration in Finance and Accounting from Villanova University. No new compensatory or severance arrangements have been entered into in connection with Mr. Castrillo’s appointment as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at this time. There are no family relationships between Mr. Castrillo and any director or executive officer of the Company, and Mr. Castrillo is not a party to any transaction required to be disclosed pursuant to Item 404(a) of Regulation S-K.
