Notification of Major Interest in Shares
In accordance with the Companies Act 1985 (as amended) the Company was informed
on 24th October 2006 that as a result of a reclassification of their
shareholding on becoming a market maker in the Ordinary Shares of Skyepharma
PLC, UBS AG and its subsidiaries ("UBS") no longer held a notifiable interest in
the Ordinary Shares of SkyePharma PLC.
