ASUR Update on Hurricane Dean
Mexico DF, August 21, 2007, Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste, S.A.B. de C.V. (NYSE: ASR; BMV: ASUR) (ASUR), the first privatized Mexican airport group and the operator of Cancun International Airport and eight other airports in southeastern Mexico, announced that yesterday evening Hurricane Dean reached the Yucatan Peninsula and as a result, the Cancun and Cozumel airports were closed. The Merida airport was also closed this morning due to the storm. The airports will remain closed as long as the weather conditions continue; however, to ASUR's knowledge as of now, the airports infrastructures have not experienced any significant damage. ASUR expects to resume operations through the day today and into tomorrow, and will make an announcement when operations have restarted.
