MATERIAL FACT

 

 

COMPANHIA SIDERÚRGICA NACIONAL ("Company") informs that after the announcement of the distribution of dividends, it was surprised by the order of the Judge of the 10th Court of Tax Enforcement of the Federal Court of São Paulo to block the distribution of dividends declared on August 17.

 

Consequently, it is prevented from paying dividends as of August 30, as announced to shareholders.

 

The Company is evaluating all measures necessary to keep the best interest of its shareholders.

 

The Company will keep the market informed.
