First Nationwide Coalition Launches to Address the Unique Interests of Professional Service Providers

New York, NY - September 20, 2016 - (Newswire.com)

The Coalition of Professional Services Providers, a new organization dedicated to addressing and advancing the interests of solution providers working with legal and other professional services communities formally launched today with an invitation to join and the unveiling of their official website, www.CoalitionPSP.com.

“While most of us have deep involvement in industry associations, there are unmet needs in the education and networking opportunities afforded to those of us who provide consulting services and products to the professional services market. No single association has the same focus and purpose as one that is dedicated to the unique interests of services providers and vendors. CoPSP offers a focused mission and formal structure that will support us in the work we do and address the things we care about,” said Founder Catherine Alman MacDonagh, JD.

There is no fee to join and it takes less than a minute to apply to the Coalition of Professional Services Providers (CoPSP), which will be governed by members, for members, all of whom stand in alignment around the following principles:

  • Passionate about continuous improvement – for ourselves and our ability to serve clients and customers – and for our clients and colleagues
  • Committed to transparency in the way business is transacted
  • Access to quality and relevant education that advances personal and professional development for members
  • A community of peers is critical for success
  • Advocacy on important issues gives us a collective presence, stronger voice, and greater influence

“It is in this spirit that CoPSP endeavors to be the first solution provider trade coalition that is created by its members from the ground up. All members join together for a common purpose,” added Founder Ben Greenzweig. “For too long the service provider community has lacked a single voice dedicated to improving our profession and advocating for our shared interests. This changes today with the launch of CoPSP,” Greenzweig concluded.

Given the strong and broad demand for the Coalition’s formation, the Founders envision that there will be many points of collaboration between CoPSP and others with offerings to business professionals working in professional services.

CoPSP members will come together in multiple avenues, including meet-ups, surveys, conference calls and webinars.

Founders Greenzweig and MacDonagh explain, “We will build the coalition from the ground up by understanding what members want, who they want to meet, how and what they wish to learn, and how to address our changing needs. We are ready to register and welcome members and even have our first survey ready to go. From there, we will create content, education and networking opportunities that have appeal to our members.”

CoPSP will develop and evolve as an organization to help professional services providers self-organize. The members will drive the value and direction of this coalition.

With no membership fee, CoPSP is formed on a business model that differs from the typical association – value is derived from the members’ experiences by being part of the community.

Members only pay for what they find valuable.

The Coalition was founded and is run by industry professional volunteers with decades of leadership and work experience providing value to the professional services community, including law firms, consultants, accountants, financial services firms and more.

All professional services providers are welcome to apply for individual membership.
