Item 5.02 – Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

 

On October 29, 2018, OraSure Technologies, Inc. (the “Company”) announced that Michele Miller has been appointed as the Company’s Vice President, Finance and Controller, effective immediately.  Ms. Miller is replacing Mark L. Kuna, who served as the Company’s Senior Vice President, Finance and Controller until October 20, 2018.  Ms. Miller, age 44, joined the Company in August, 2007 as Manager, Financial Reporting, and has served as Director, Financial Reporting since December, 2011.

 

There are no arrangements or understandings between Ms. Miller and any other person pursuant to which she was selected as an officer of the Company.  Ms. Miller does not have any familial relationship with any member of the Board of Directors or executive officer of the Company, and there are no transactions in which Ms. Miller has an interest requiring disclosure under Item 404(a) of Regulation S-K.
