Item 8.01 Other Events.
On October 3, 2013, the Company issued two press releases discussing the conclusion of matters relating to the resumption of trading in our common shares following the trading suspension order and administrative proceeding instituted by the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) on September 18, 2013. The first press release, Trading Status of MuniMae Common Shares – Update, issued at market-open, provided an update of the status of the procedural actions required by the SEC and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority in order for our common shares to begin trading. The second press release, MuniMae Announces Resolution to Trading Delay, issued after market-close, notified shareholders of the completion of the procedural actions of the regulatory bodies. The press releases are attached as Exhibits 99.1 and 99.2 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
