Vibrantz Technologies today announced the appointment of Craig Rogerson to its board of managers. He joins the seven existing members of the Vibrantz board.

Rogerson recently retired as president and CEO at Hexion Inc., an American Securities portfolio company, where he served in that role from July 2017 to January 2023. Prior to Hexion, he was chairman, president and CEO of Chemtura Corporation from late 2008 until April 2017. Rogerson was president, CEO and director of Hercules Inc. from December 2003 to November 2008. He first joined Hercules in 1979, serving in various management positions before leaving the company in 1997 to serve as CEO at Wacker Silicones Corp. for three years. Rogerson returned to Hercules in 2000 as president of its BetzDearborn division and served in various management roles, including president of its FiberVisions and Pinova divisions, vice president of global procurement, and chief operating officer.

“We are pleased to welcome Craig to our board,” said D. Michael Wilson, Vibrantz president and CEO. “His expertise in the specialty chemicals space, including serving as chief executive officer in private equity-owned and publicly traded companies, will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our strategic focus on providing world-class products and service for customers, promoting the Vibrantz brand, and driving sustainable growth.”

“I look forward to joining the already strong group of board members at Vibrantz,” said Rogerson. “I’m honored to have the opportunity to serve as a trusted advisor for the Vibrantz leadership team as the company continues its journey to becoming a world-class specialty chemicals and materials enterprise and creating long-term value for stakeholders.”
