Picture Yourself as a Winner in the K12 National Photography Competition

Stride K12 is encouraging students nationwide to “picture themselves” as a winner of the 2023 K12 National Photography competition. This year’s competition, “In Focus,” invites students in grades K-12 to submit their photography entries beginning on August 17th.

Students can submit entries across three categories: DSLR photography, smartphone photography, and film photography, which includes 35mm film and polaroid photographs. Each grade band – K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12 – and photography category will produce winners set to win their choice in prizes valued up to $1,200. Winners will also be invited to an in-person photoshoot overseen by the Stride K12 Creative Services team.

“Through this Photography Competition, we get the privilege of seeing the creative minds of students around the country at work,” said Karen Ghidotti, Senior Vice President of Customer Experience at Stride. “This year, we look forward to seeing how students will be showcasing their artistic talents through the various types of photography available today.”

In Focus is one of the many opportunities offered at Stride K12 for students to showcase their academic and artistic talents. Students, whether they attend a K12-powered school or not, can explore industries and creative outlets with national competition and contests including art, Robotics and STEM topics, cooking, and more.
