He will serve in this role until May of 2021, and will also hold a position as a board member for the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, the joint effort of AICPA and the Chartered Institute of Management Accounts (CIMA).

He has been an active volunteer to the profession on both the state and national levels for the past two decades; he is a former President of the Rhode Island Society of CPAs and has held multiple senior positions on AICPA committees, including a three-year term on the Board of Directors. In 2018, Bill was awarded the Sustained Contribution Award by the AICPA for his many years of service to the organization and the accounting profession at large.
