ITEM 8.01. Other Events

The following information is furnished pursuant to Item 8.01 “Other Events.” On February 20, 2008, The Buckle, Inc. issued a press release announcing that Dan Hirschfeld, Chairman of the Board, has adopted a stock trading plan to sell a portion of his shares of the Company’s common stock. The stock trading plan was adopted in accordance with guidelines specified under Rule 10b5-1 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Under the plan, Mr. Hirschfeld may sell up to 1,200,000 shares over a period of 12 months beginning March 3, 2008, unless the plan is amended or terminated.
