Professional staffing firm Kforce (NYSE: KFRC) will be reporting earnings this Monday after the bell. Here’s what to expect.

Kforce met analysts’ revenue expectations last quarter, reporting revenues of $334.3 million, down 6.2% year on year. It was a softer quarter for the company, with a significant miss of analysts’ EPS guidance for next quarter estimates and revenue guidance for next quarter missing analysts’ expectations.

This quarter, analysts are expecting Kforce’s revenue to decline 7.3% year on year to $327.6 million, a further deceleration from the 5.3% decrease it recorded in the same quarter last year. Adjusted earnings are expected to come in at $0.56 per share.

Analysts covering the company have generally reconfirmed their estimates over the last 30 days, suggesting they anticipate the business to stay the course heading into earnings. Kforce has missed Wall Street’s revenue estimates five times over the last two years.

Looking at Kforce’s peers in the professional services segment, some have already reported their Q3 results, giving us a hint as to what we can expect. ManpowerGroup delivered year-on-year revenue growth of 2.3%, beating analysts’ expectations by 0.7%, and Robert Half reported a revenue decline of 7.5%, in line with consensus estimates. ManpowerGroup traded down 11.4% following the results while Robert Half was also down 1.2%.
