ITEM 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition.
On March 3, 2014, W. P. Carey Inc. (“W. P. Carey”) issued an earnings release announcing its financial results for the quarter and year ended December 31, 2013. A copy of the earnings release is attached as Exhibit 99.1.
The information furnished pursuant to this “Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition,” including Exhibit 99.1, shall not be deemed to be “filed” for the purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, as amended (the “Exchange Act”), or otherwise subject to the liability of that Section, and shall not be incorporated by reference into any filing under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the “Act”), or the Exchange Act.

On March 3, 2014, W. P. Carey made available certain supplemental unaudited financial information at December 31, 2013, including its earnings release for the quarter ended December 31, 2013, which had been previously released. A copy of this supplemental information is attached as Exhibit 99.2.
