Luxottica closes the acquisition of a minority stake
in Salmoiraghi & Viganò
Milan (Italy), March 25, 2013 Luxottica Group S.p.A. (MTA: LUX; NYSE: LUX), a leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of fashion, luxury and sports eyewear announced the closing today of the acquisition of a 36.33% equity stake in Salmoiraghi & Viganò.
The transaction, which is valued at Euro 45 million, was previously announced on November 27, 2012 and aimed at providing Salmoiraghi & Viganò with the resources required to re-establish its financial resources and to support its future growth.
