ITEM 9. REGULATION FD DISCLOSURE
On March 22, 2003, Ashford Hospitality Trust, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that it closed on a $15 million mezzanine loan to a joint venture between Congress Group Ventures and The Buccini/Pollin Group, on the Embassy Suites — Boston Logan Airport in Boston, Massachusetts.
