ITEM 1.01 Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement.
On February 13, 2006, Altus Pharmaceuticals Inc. (the “Registrant”) entered into a Third Amendment of Lease for 125 Sidney Street Property (the “Amendment”) to the Lease Agreement between the Registrant and Rizika Realty Trust dated as of April 4, 2002, as previously amended.
The Amendment, among other things, provides for a new monthly rent commencing on April 1, 2006 for the Registrant’s office space at 125 Sidney Street in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and extends the term of the lease for one year, which shall be automatically extended thereafter on a month-to-month basis terminable by either party upon 12-months advance written notice.
The Amendment is attached hereto as an exhibit to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is being filed pursuant to this Item 1.01 as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
