Ecovyst Appoints Colleen Grace Donofrio as Vice President – Environment and Sustainability

Ecovyst Inc. (NYSE: ECVT) (“Ecovyst” or the “Company”), a leading integrated and innovative global provider of specialty catalysts and services, today announced that Colleen Grace Donofrio has been appointed as its Vice President – Environment and Sustainability.

“I am excited to have Colleen join the team to lead our environmental and sustainability programs,” said Kurt Bitting, Chief Executive Officer of Ecovyst. “Colleen’s experience and enthusiasm will help further enhance Ecovyst’s award winning sustainability programs and bolster our efforts to develop service offerings that enable our customers to meet their sustainability goals.

Mrs. Donofrio most recently served as a shareholder in the environmental law practice of Pittsburgh, PA.-based Babst, Calland, Clements and Zomnir, P.C., where she served as outside environmental counsel to Ecovyst and its predecessors since 2005. She holds a bachelor of science in chemical engineering and a bachelor of arts in economics, each from Rutgers University, and a juris doctor from the Rutgers Camden Law School.

Mrs. Donofrio replaces Elaine T. Simpson, who has retired from the Company following a distinguished two-decade career with Ecovyst and its predecessors.
