On August 3, 2010, Robert J. Keegan announced his retirement as Executive Chairman and a director of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, effective October 1, 2010. The Board of Directors elected Richard J. Kramer, Goodyear’s Chief Executive Officer and President, as Chairman of the Board upon Mr. Keegan’s retirement.

A copy of Goodyear’s news release announcing Mr. Keegan’s retirement and Mr. Kramer’s election is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
