Item 8.01 Other Events.
On January 15, 2019, National Health Investors issued a press release announcing it has agreed to purchase and leaseback a senior living campus in Massachusetts for a total initial investment of $50.3 million. The campus, Wingate at Silver Lake, is located south of Boston in Kingston. This acquisition by NHI was funded by a draw on its revolving credit facility. The Press Release is attached in its entirety as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is also incorporated by reference herein.
